Week 1 in the books...

I had the pleasure of watching week one. I  must admit it was not disappointing. After the racing got going we finally got down to brass tacks.

T-Jet  Matco-Moroso

Defeating Torch..Brax/Jegs

Xtraction. D.L. Racing  Corvette R/W What was unusual, was D.L had the 2 cars racing each other. How did this come about? I asked an on looker he, said D.L got it done. Those were the fastest cars that day.

Prostock- Matco/NitroFish Here is no surprise. NitroFish is just picking up where he left off. Dominating in the seasons before this fish is the biggest in the pond.

Defeating Mopar Blue/Howard Racing... The surprise in this race is Howard racing was invisible in the prostock class. Is this the season to shine? Does anyone have a pole who can reel this fish in?

Funny Car- Howard/Tap-it. This car came out of no where in the last season on record. Coming on strong at the end of the season Howard racing is hoping the winning ways continue. We all know about the battles with Newspaper/Brax Jegs. Was there another war waged with Matco/Black Mopar?

Top Fuel Mav Tv/Brax Jegs. Like Nitrofish whose winning ways carried over. So did MavTV. Another solidified class that seems to be hard to conquer.

Defeated Army/D.L. racing...

Pro Street... Matco/Grumpys toy.. A class that was inserted we will see what becomes of this class.

As things wrapped up at Matco raceway I couldn't help but wonder Where is the Harris racing team? Bently racing? Are they ready to race? Teams couldn't be reached for comment....
