WEEK 6 "SUPERBOWL SUNDAY SHOOT OUT"

Here it is week 6 in the NSDRA, where the points are tripled. For the CB"ALL OUT" and Howard teams, winning here is a must to stay in reach of the leaders. The Harris camp looks to bounce back after a crash at Matco 1/4 Mile Speed Way. D.L racing looks to be the favorite in the Xtrac class but that yellow truck looks to be a hurdle. (owned by Brax Labs) Brax-Labs looks to get back on the winning track after a few loses. Phantom racing(Tom) looks to make their mark in the NSDRA. Brown/Matco had this to say,"The one class I want is T-Jet and me and Brax/Labs are going toe to toe. Brax has always stood between me and greatness. Watch out for JR, All Out Racing is posting crazy times @ MATCO MANCAVE. He's learning fast, looking to come from out of my shadows. Beating me in the Finals of Pro Stock must have lit a fire. I can also see me & D.L on a collision course in several classes. He knows how to bring it out of you. (I know everybody knows what i'm talking about)

All I can say is LINE 'EM UP!  AS ALWAYS BURN RUBBER, CYA AT THE TRACK.

IN THE FRONT OF THE CLASS

After 5 weeks of running down the track, we have the leaders running the classes. In the T-JET class we have Brax -Labs with 947 pts with  2 wins. Next is XTRACTION, The D.L race team has 983 pts and 3 wins to back it. 4 GEAR PRO STOCK & FUNNY CAR goes to the team of Brown/Matco. In PRO the point total is 913 with 2 wins,FUNNY 826 pts with 1 win. Once again Brax-Labs shows a presence with TOP FUEL with 1058 points and 4 wins. But with CB"All Out" and  Howard race teams having strong showings at the TAP-IT Invitational the potential is there to make a run at the leaders. As always, burn rubber. Cya at the track.

WEEK 5 THE TAP IT INVITATIONAL

Here it is week 5, can you say action packed? Let's start with The Harris race team who suffered a few set backs. We start off by the accident, that caused the wrecker to be called out. Though the car was heavily damaged the driver suffered minor injuries. Second set back was the TOP FUEL Dragster, which blew a motor. But thanks to the combined efforts of The Brax Labs and Brown/Matco teams, the Harris race team was able to race.
Brown/Matco took T-JET honors with their win Over Brax Labs. The Matco Nova (wht) clocked in at .708 defeating Torch (Camaro Fame). D.L racing brought that dude back for week 5. That dude being that Camaro. The Camaro pulled out the win against Brax/Labs due to a red light dq, taking the XTRAC crown with a .667. Though Brax Labs red lighted, the yellow truck is gonna be trouble. PRO-STOCK honors go to CB "ALL OUT" Racing who is starting to come on strong in the game after edging out a top competitor, CB would take on a Fish. NITRO FISH owned by Brown/Matco.

Harris Racing had a crash riddled race day

Harris Racing had a crash riddled race day at Matco Raceway -  aka "Death Race II" Sponsored by Tap It Racing

while not being present his car was damaged in the front wheel axle area.
The wrecker was out and the Black and Green Charger was off to the garage to get ready for racing after the early accident.
The unsuccessful day ended on the wrecker again after qualifying and a horrific crash near the finish line that not only called for the wrecker but first call emergency responders

WINNING WAYS

As we go into week 5, There the eyes of the NSDRA nation will be  on Brax Labs. Why you ask? Funny Car"Newspaper" who has won 2 weeks straight. Next up Top Fuel Dragster"Silver Bullet" who has won 4 weeks in a row,
who seems to be running away with the points. Howard racing had a strong showing, this trend needs to continue. CB"All Out" made their presence felt. As well as Brown/Matco who plans on shaking things up. Harris racing as well as Tommy Customs got things rolling in the NSDRA. Will D.L racing let the Camaro run wild? Or will it be a no show here in week 5? Burn rubber, see ya at the track.

WEEK 4 THE CB "ALL OUT" INVATIONALS

Once again excitement had race goers getting their moneys worth. Howard racing is starting to come into their own. Avoiding the red on the tree is a must. Howard racing fell into that trap. In T-JET  The Howard race team fell to Brax-Labs. "Torch" from the Camaro fame won, posting a .773 time.Once again Howard racing showed  up to race.  Howard's Vette went up against D.L racing's Baracuda. Though the Vette got the jump on the Baracuda, seems the Cuda had too much under the hood. D.L racing charges to the win posting a  .671 in X-TRAC. It's not call "THE ALL OUT INVATIONAL" for nothing. The All Out race team made it to the finals, in PRO-STOCK going up against Brown/Matco  which the Brown/Matco in the Nitro-Fish cruised to the victory posting a .698 against the All Out Kendall. Again The All Out team got to the finals in FUNNY CAR. Posting a win against Howard's Tap-It who seemed to tapped into that red light for the instant DQ. All Out would go against another juggernaut in the Funny Car world, Brax Labs "Newspaper", who cruised to the win posting a .735 going on a 2-0 run in 2 weeks. Brax Labs would win another final. TOP FUEL was a battle in the trenches. Going against Brown/Matco team. After red lighting 2 times the 3rd would be the charm for The Lab's Silver Bullet who posted a .729. Going on a 4 race win streak. Silver Bullet is 4-0.  Brax Labs is on a role ,winning 3 events  out of 5. I would like to mention the Harris team made it to their first racing event, as well as newcomer Tom P race team. It was a good competitive week keep it up gents. Burn rubber and see ya on the track.

1/5/14 CB Allout tournament of champions invational

CB All Out Tournament of Champions

The first race of 2014 is scheduled for this Sunday. The standing have been updated and it looks like Brax Lab’s Silver Bullet & D. L Racing Camaro are the cars to beat early in the season. Howard Racing has shown improvements in the T-Jet and Top Fuel class and looks to make up some much needed ground. Harris Racing is schedule to make his first appearance this week, let’s see if he’s ready to play with the big boys. Word around the drag strip is that the NSDRA is getting a new member. This racer has a running relationship with SJ Racer. In other news; “Death Race”, Matco ¼ mile is open for testing. The NSDRA will try out the new track this week with some test & tune. Matco ¼ mile is set to host the TapIt invitational in two weeks. Tuckahoe drag strip is close to opening the doors for testing as well. Tuckahoe should be ready by late February early March for test and tuning. This will give the NSDRA 3 tracks in the ever growing league.
