Shattered dreams and broken hearts were seen on national tv when the Seattle Seahawks beat the Denver Broncos, the same could be said at the NSDRA Super Bowl Sunday Shootout. The infamous red light was the brick wall, not the Seattle defense. Howard racing had a season high 6 red light dq's. Howard's PR REP had this to say,"We are going over video to remedy the problems, there is too many chances being taken that is knocking us out of the points race. Our organization was told ,"When your good your fast, when your bad your in the dirt." This quote has stuck, look for us to get better." In T-JET, Brax-Labs came through with a big win. Torch a well know car who may be feared clocked in a time of .734 over D.L racing who got the red light DQ. In XTRAC D.L would make up for that DQ with a win. Once again facing Brax-Labs and that Jegs yellow truck. The Green Pinto got the win with a ET of .667, Brax Labs got the DQ. D.L racing
has the Camaro under wraps, the car that set the tone. No one could be reached for comment. Next event we have the PRO-STOCKS, that was a real battle. AGE vs. YOUTH I would like to call this. The big fish in the NSDRA pond came out for a swim. Brown/Matco Nitro Fish faced the CB"ALL OUT" Kendall which he won with a time of .667, while the Kendall posted a .786. This rivalry didn't stop there. The second half of this face off poured over into Funny Car. Quick Lane owned by CB would face Brown/Matco Tools Funny Car. CB'ALL OUT' ran away with this win. Posting an ET .652 to Matco's .712. Brax Labs would not be out done in the final race of the evening. Brax Labs Silver Bullet would knock off the NSDRA Dragster posting a .688 to the NSDRA .770. All points earned were tripled, ground was made for some, others may have slipped down to just being a spoiler. Special shout out to Harris racing who did very well this Sunday,as well as Phantom racing who is being competitive. Special Honors goes to THE CB"ALL OUT" RACE TEAM who is really starting to come in their own, beating the seasoned racers, that are not taking this organization lightly.
Week 6 is in the books, but there is plenty of racing left. Can Howard Racing over come that RED LIGHT to capture wins? Will D.L Racing win other races besides Xtrac? What's to become of the battle AGE vs. YOUTH? Winning ways for Harris and Phantom racing? Brax Labs getting a win against D.L in Xtrac? These questions will be answered as the season goes on.
